About Us

Strengthening Safeguarding. Supporting People. Creating Safer Systems.

Golden Thread Safeguarding Consultancy was founded to help organisations build safer cultures, stronger safeguarding systems and more confident practitioners by providing expert safeguarding consultancy, training, supervision and statutory review support for organisations working with children, adults and families.

Our approach is grounded in the belief that effective safeguarding is about more than compliance. It is about creating environments where people feel safe, heard and supported, while ensuring organisations meet their safeguarding responsibilities and continuously improve practice. We combine strategic expertise with practical solutions, helping organisations translate learning into meaningful and sustainable change.

We are guided by a clear set of values: safeguarding expertise, compassionate practice, psychological safety, continuous learning and a Think Family approach that recognises the interconnected experiences of children, adults and wider family networks. These principles underpin everything we do, whether we are delivering training, facilitating supervision, reviewing practice or supporting organisational development.

Our aim is simple: to work alongside organisations as a trusted partner, helping them create safer services and achieve better outcomes for the people they support.
